I took this photo the other day while driving through Southwest Detroit. On Saturday, April 27th, the Marathon Refinery located at I-75 and Schaefer experienced an explosion. The explosion was so powerful that it could be felt all across the neighborhood. This is a photo of the damaged tank that exploded. Here's a video of the action while it happened.
